Support that treats your site like infrastructure

WordPress maintenance, security, updates, and hands-on help — from essential upkeep to a priority partnership when you want a reliable external web lead in the business.

Why care plans exist

Websites decay quietly until something expensive breaks.

WordPress needs ongoing attention: core updates, plugin compatibility, security patches, backup verification, and small content changes that never quite get done because no one owns them internally.

Without a plan, businesses fall into a cycle — ignore the site, panic when it breaks, pay emergency rates, repeat. A care plan replaces that with predictable scope, sensible response, and someone who already understands how your site is built.

Plans at a glance

Three levels of involvement

Full pricing and feature lists below — this is how to think about fit.

core

Core Care

Essential maintenance for sites that need to stay secure and current without much monthly change — updates, monitoring, and a small support allowance.

active

Active Care

The sweet spot for most businesses — regular improvements, layout tweaks, performance checks, and enough hours to keep momentum.

priority

Priority Care

Higher-touch partnership — faster turnaround, more monthly hours, and proactive oversight when the website is business-critical.

Behind the scenes — maintenance and security

Every plan includes

The fundamentals

  • WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates (tested, not blind)
  • Security and uptime monitoring awareness
  • Backup status checks
  • Priority email support channel
  • Included monthly support hours per tier
  • Advice from someone who knows your setup

Typical requests

What clients actually ask for

  • Content and image updates on existing pages
  • New staff profiles, services, or offers
  • Form and integration troubleshooting
  • Plugin conflicts after updates
  • Speed and mobile layout fixes
  • Small landing pages within plan hours

Larger projects — rebuilds, new sections, major SEO — are quoted separately or covered under SEO / design scopes.

How it feels

Not a ticket queue. A relationship.

Direct
Email the person who works on your site — no account managers in the middle
Scoped
Hours and response expectations defined up front — surprises only when scope genuinely changes
Connected
Works alongside eXthus Cloud and SEO when you want one partner
Honest
If a request is bigger than the plan, you get a clear quote — not silent overruns

Common questions

Often yes, after a technical review. We need to understand theme, plugins, hosting, and risk before taking responsibility for updates. Some fragile or unmaintained installs are better served by a rebuild first.
Additional time is billed at the agreed overage rate on your plan or quoted as a small project. Partner-level clients on combined plans have preferential overage rates — see pricing.
Care plans cover WordPress work. Hosting is separate via eXthus Cloud or bundled in system plans. We can support sites on third-party hosting within the partnership tiers.
Standard plans are business-hours oriented with sensible urgency handling. Critical outage support for Priority clients can be discussed — ad-hoc emergency work is always available at the standard hourly rate.
